First, thank you for your support. Although I wish the outcome yesterday was different, we ran a race we can look back on and be proud of. Together we showed that the Republican Party is alive and well in Massachusetts - ready to hold
both Capitol Hill and Beacon Hill accountable.
I am proud that we ran a race that brought the issues facing Massachusetts 9th Congressional District to the forefront. With your help we made hundreds of thousands of phone calls, knocked thousands of doors, and ran one of the most energetic
races our state has ever seen. I will cherish the new friendships I made on the trail and the time I spent meeting voters on fish piers in New Bedford, at fairs on the South Shore and summer picnics on the Cape.
During my conversation with Congressman Keating last night, I urged him to focus on jobs and the economy, securing the border, to continue to fight for the fishing community and those negatively affected by FEMAs flood maps.
Thank you all for your support over the past year. It has truly been an honor of a lifetime.
